Earth Animals on Planet Archipelago:
The first colonists from Earth followed an age old tradition and they named the animals on the planet after similar looking animals back on Earth. The humans didn't transport sharks or octopus from Earth to Archipelago. They simply renamed a native creature on Archipelago that reminded them of a shark or octopus . All native animals are hermaphroditic they either bud a young from their side or they lay eggs.
The Animals that were brought to Archipelago from Earth by the first colonists are:
Goats - which have done well.
Sheep - which have done well with human oversight.
Horses - which have not done very well leaving the horse a rare Earth animal.
Donkey - which have done much better than the horse but not as well as the goat.
Beef cattle - Only the animals with defensive horns have survived and thrived.
Milk cow - the hornless dairy cows have not fared very well.
Pigs - these have done well with human oversight.
Rabbits - these have almost died out.
Chickens - These have done okay with human oversight.
Ducks - these have died off.
Dogs - these have also almost died out. The ones that are doing the best are the indoor lap dogs.
Cats - they have done rather well and on a few human dominated islands they have replaced the native predators in the same or smaller size bracket.
Ladybugs - these are doing well but stay close to Earth crops.
Freshwater trout - these are believed to have died out.
Dolphin - These are believed to have died out.
Honey bees - These are believed to have died out.
Creatures from Earth that were stowaways due to the illegal nature and lack security by Capt. Meecher's actions are; These creatures came in the form of eggs and were brought unknowingly to the planet.
Miller moths - they have thrived and spread.
Black-widow spiders - they are now on 15 human colonized islands.
